About Phann.

A Brief History
Phann lies in a parallel world which can only be accessed through a portal of the gods. It´s a continent with five different countries. It´s got several gods, each in a different shape and each got separate duties. Some are birds, like owls, crows and a phoenix, some of the gods are elves, some are shaped like monstrous hurricanes. There are even some human gods in this world, though they are immortal.
Phann is in some aspects way more advanced than our world. No, they do not live in a digital age, but the people have found better alternatives for electricity and transportation. The air is very clean and pure.
The continent is divided between five different countries:
The land of Osterlynna, the land of the rivers and the forests.
Braelland, the land of the mountains and the courageous men.
The isle of Carleopa, the island where all fairy-tales come from.
The islands of the prophets, the six islands is where the immortals live. Each of these islands has a name that only its owner knows.
And finally Mosethan, the only land without a god. Once there was a god, but a man named Moseth, was able to kill the god and set himself upon the throne of this land. People therefore have been avoiding the land of Mosethan ever since.
The Legend of the Sword
There is a legend in Phann. And it all turns around one sword. Carleopa, Braelland and Osterlynna all are under the watch of one god. A god in the shape of a Phoenix (read more about this in ´Phann´s Vogel´). The islands of the prophets all have gods but they had only one great god who lived on the largest island of Dandrasta, now known as Mosethan. That great god once, about two-thousand years ago, had a sword. That sword was forged with the fire of the dying phoenix, whose name was Aodh, who trusted the great Immortal with the sword. Five-hundred years later came the news to Braelland. Home of a young man named Moseth. Moseth was a sorcerer and deeply craving for power. For he had nothing. He was just the son of peasants, living in a small wooden cottage outside the city of Braehall. Then he heard about the most powerful sword overseas. The sword would give him immense power, and combined with his sorcery he could therefore kill an immortal. The greatest immortal of all times. Fifty year went by, the young man was growing old. But over the years he had built an army and finally he made his way to the isle of Dandrasta, where he would meet the great Immortal, take his sword and kill him. Moseth crowned himself king and he built a stone city on the place where he killed the great Immortal. The city is called Creseq Moseth, Moseth´s city when translated. But now that Moseth finally had what he wanted, he was still not satisfied, he could feel that his end was nigh, and he did not have an heir. There was a young girl, not much older than eighteen, she was the youngest daughter of  the great immortal. Moseth kept her alive, because he knew she would come in handy one day. She bore him a son and Moseth killed her. He raised his son on his own, teaching him about everything there was to know about tyranny. When the boy was sixteen, he killed his father and took the phoenix-sword. Since then, every heir of Moseth had been a tyrant. But one night, on the dawn of the twentieth birthday of king Riseth, the third heir of Moseth, rebels of different lands came sneaking into his room and took the sword. Nobody knows what happened next. The sword was lost, no one could find it. Some say the phoenix took it, some say it was cast into the deepest point of the ocean. And some say it is still there, waiting for its rightful owner to pick it up again and to free Mosethan from tyranny.
